1953, Tompkins

'Caribbean Sky' ( Chet Tompkins, R. 1953). Eupogocyclus hybrid, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-B1M, Medium-blue self, blue beard. 'Congrès' x ( 'Annabel' x 'Narain'). Fleur de Lis 1953.

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens 1956. CARIBBEAN SKY (Tompkins 1953) Congres x (Annabel x Narain). One of the most brilliant of all blue iris, this has large well formed flowers with heavy substance and glistening finish. A blue beard further accents its coloring. $l.00.
