From The Flesh Garden catalog, 1963: IFTAH-EL-BAB- (Kalifa Abra X C.G.W.-A-2) Erythrite purplish red (Wilson chart), marked and heavily splashed in deep maroon, wide bronze beard. Large blooms, good form, substance, two branches, 30 inch stalk, 4 to 6 blooms. Has the highest fertiility of any arilbred pollen parent in our entire gardens, setting seed where all others have failed, even on difficult pure aril species. Gives good signals in very first (F-1) generation. Few plants available for 1963 sales. $20.00. |
