From Bonnewitz catalog, 1923/24: LADY LILFORD (Foster) $5.00. This is one of the varieties I have been trying for three years to grow but without much success. I will be able to spare a very few roots of it this year, but I believe it should be grown under glass.
From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: LADY LILFORD (Foster '15) ML 20" (Paradoxa X Pallida). The dark purple blooms are accented by a black signal patch. $.50
