From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: QUEEN ANNE (Wayman '32) E 36" (Unknown). We quote from an old Catalog of Wayman's: "An exquisitely beautiful Iris, entirely in a class by itself. The dome shaped standards are beautifully creped, cream colored with a faint bronze overcast. The flaring falls are of the same color, prominently veined pansy-violet, with old gold veining at the throat to the tip of the beard. The record as to its parentage was lost, but I was using some Oncocyclus pollen on Tall Bearded Iris at the time and I believe the unusual effect results from this.". $1.00
