<strong>'Scarlet Butterfly' </strong>([[Main.Bio.HybridizerAustinLloyd][Lloyd Austin]], R. 1959). Seedling OB-24-A. TB-Onco, 36" (91 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-R5Y, Standards pale red, flushed yellow at base; Falls dark scarlet, flushed white, veined scarlet. [[Ab.AbButterflyWings]['Butterfly Wings']] x [[TbPthruT.TbRocket]['Rocket']]. Rainbow 1960.

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.
