'Short Song' (Les Peterson, R. 1953) Eupogocyclus hybrid, 24-26". Late midseason bloom. Self of light lavender-blue; beard pale yellow, tipped white. Branching oncotype, like 'William Mohr'. 'Ormohr' X ('Député Nomblot' x 'Happy Days'). Tell 1954.

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.

From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: SHORT SONG (Peterson 1954) M. L. 30 in. Ormohr x (Happy Days x Depute Nomblot). A very large and flaring Mohr type flower of pale lavender blue. Very well liked in our garden last season. 5.00.
