(AR) 'Babylonian Brass'

1975, Shockey

'Babylonian Brass'. (Howard Shockey, R. 1975). Oncocyclus Hybrid. Seedling 161-135A. AR, height 15" (38 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow blend with olive undertone, fine pepper dotting of brown in center area turning to fine veining of same color at edges; Falls yellow blend with olive undertone, heavier peppering; small diffusing brown signal; brown beard. Austin 830-O-Wh (probably involving I. lortetii and I. auranitica , yellow form) X Austin seedling ( I. auranitica , bronze form x I. susiana ). Arilian Acres 1975.
