From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1921: Saturnus, light violet veined purple netted silvery grey. F.C. Haarlem.
From Southern California Iris Garden catalog, 1929: SATURN. Beautiful deep purple veinmg on a grey ground. The flowers are not so round as in Susiana but are large and of excellent substance. Easy to handle as a cut flower. 2 ft. 2.00.
