From AIS Bulletin #185 April 1967 Introducing GLENZULA (Bakke-Messer). BB. 24". Large flowered border iris in iridescent light tan with a peach cast, deepening at the edges. Broad, flaring falls lightly marked at shoulders in brown-tan, blending to ivory below the light orange beard. All petals and the enormous stylearms are heavily laced, a trait that appears in its seedlings. Named for us, Glenn and Zula Hanson. $15.00. Riverdale Iris Gardens. |
