<strong>'Pink Kewpie' </strong>( [[Main.Bio.HybridizerWrightMaybelle][Maybelle Wright]], R. 1976). Seedling #BB-27. BB, 24" (61 cm), Early bloom. Blend of pale, light and full pink giving a light red effect; red beard. [[Bb.BbLaNinaRosa]['La Nina Rosa']] X Lankow seedling #65-J-2.  Wright 1976. High Commendation 1972, 1974, Honorable Mention 1977.

|From AIS Bulletin #221 April 1976 Introducing PINK KEWPIE-Sdlg. BB-27: (La Nina Rosa X Lankow 65J2). BB, 22". A subtle blend but the effect is that of a true pink self with prominent, deep rose-pink beards. The small flowers are flared and lightly ruffled, often three open at once on beautifully branched stems. All plant parts in good proportion. 7 or 8 buds. Sets pods and has very fertile pollen (rare in BB pinks). Breeds small pinks. Seen at Roanoke. HC 1972. NET $15.00. Maybelle Wright.|
