Iris australis. — A very showy, large-flowered variety, the colour a deep violet-purple, almost a self colour, the habit quite vigorous. From Messrs. Kelway and Sons.


Notes of the Week......

Iris bosniaca. — M. N. Lauche, director of the gardens at Eisgrub, recommends the little yellow Iris (I. bosniaca) as a most useful plant for gardens. It has the peculiarity of flowering again in autumn.— Louis Kropatsch, Vienna
