'Baby Precious Pepper' (James A. Mahoney, R. 1982). Seedling #76/92A., R. IB, height 19" (48 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards medium brown (RHS 177B/C); falls reddish brown (1 76A/B), white hafts veined reddish brown; grayed orange (1 63A) beard and 1/2" (1.3 cm) horns; sweet fragrance. 'Regards' X 'Horned Rosyred'. 4-Square Iris 1985. Honorable Mention 1988.

From AIS Bulletin #257 April 1985 Introducing BABY PRECIOUS PEPPER James Mahoney '85) Sdlg. 77/92A. IB, 19", ML. This little one has medium brown (RHS 177B/C) slightly ruffled standards. The falls are reddish brown (176 A/B) with matching colored veins on white ground at hafts, full flare, slightly ruffled. Greyed orange (163A) beards with 1/2" horns at end of beards. One to two branches with terminal and 4 to 5 buds. Regards X Horned Rosyred. $17.50. 4-Square Iris Gardens.
