(IB) 'Bright Mood'

1973, Brown

'Bright Mood' (Alta Brown, R. 1972). Seedling #M 1368-1. IB, height 20" (51 cm), Late midseason bloom. Ruffled empire yellow (HCC 603/3), slightly darker at haft; self beard. Unknown parentage. J & J Iris 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing BRIGHT MOOD (Alta Brown 73). lB. 20". Sdlg. M 1368-1 Parentage unknown. The ruffled standards are bright Empire yellow (Wilson 603) and the rounded, flaring falls are same except darker yellow at hafts. Beard is yellow. Petals are nicely ruffled, good form and substance. NET $7.50. J&J Iris Garden.
