Donald Spoon, R. 2004). Seedling #97-704A. IB, 24" (61 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards solid red blend of (RHS 53A and 61A), white centers inside; style arms red blend (53A and 61A); falls white ground, edges red blend (53A and 61A), dark red veins extending into the white ground; beards lavender tipped old gold; ruffled.

From AIS Bulletin #333 April 2004 Introducing Cat's Hat (D. Spoon) IB, 24" (61 cm), EM. Sdlg. #97-704A. Ruffled, deep red plicata on white ground with lavender beards tipped old gold. Color is a blend of RHS 53A red group and 61A red-purple group. Standards are solid red on the outside with white centers on the inside. Arched falls have dark red veins extending into the white ground. Well branched stalks with 5 to 7 buds. (SDB Baby Blessed X TB Change of Pace). $25. Winterberry Gardens. |
