From The Dykes Irises catalog 1929: CAUCASIAN - A seedling raised by Mr. Dykes from the Caucasian species imbrieata. Of dwarf and sturdy habit, with pale yellow self-colorured flowers, the falls are reticulated with bronze green, yellow beards. Like the type it has large inflated spathes 12 inches. |
