Loïc Tasquier, R. 2009). Seedling B306A. IB, 24" (60 cm), Very early bloom and rebloom. Standards light blue, darker midribs; falls lighter blue, brown green lines on hafts; Beards orange in throat, blue tipped orange in the middle, light blue at end; pronounced lily-of the valley fragrance.

Hybridizer's comment: I am always surprised by the quality i get from 'Stingray': photos gallery. I was hoping for some hooks, but not this time. Still, I got some rebloom, thanks to 'Baby Prince'. 'Desi Brouwer' was the best seedling of the cross, and it's smell of lily-of-the valley is to die for! Named after Desi who is a dear friend or ours. |
'Desi Brouwer' (Loïc Tasquier, Enregistré en 2009). Semis B306A . IB, 60 cm, Très Hatif et Remontant. Pétale bleu pâle, plus foncé au milieu; sépale bleu plus pâle que le sépale, lignes brun-vert sur les épaules; barbes orange dans la gorge, bleu pointé orange au milieu, bleu pâle à la fin; parfum très prononcé de muguet. 'Stingray' X 'Baby Prince' . Kwekerij Joosten 2010. Commentaire de l'hybrideur: Je suis toujours surpris par la qualité des semis que donne 'Stingray': galerie photos. J'esperais obtenir des éperons, mais pas cette fois. En revanche, j'ai obtenu de la remontance, grace à 'Baby Prince'. 'Desi Brouwer' était le meilleurs semis de ce croisement, et son parfum de muguet est à mourir! Il porte le nom de notre chère amie Desi. |
