EARLY EDITION (Keppel '70)-It is the brightest of the Keppel trio of plicatas, being an intense violet on white but no less beautiful than the earlier Clique and Pale Cloud (Keppel '69). This trio is the standard for plicatas of intermediate stature. What more need be said? [Joe Gatty, “A Median Review,” The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, Vol. 55, No. 214 (July 1974): 56.] |
