Paul Black, R. 2010) Seedling #O357A. IB, 25" (64 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards medium rosy plum, wide tan-gold bands; style arms rosy plum, tan gold crests; falls fuchsia centers, wide washed dark plum band, white area around beard veined and washed dark plum; beards blue white base tipped yellow; slight sweet fragrance.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2010: FANCIFUL WHIMSY (Black ‘10) IB Midseason 25” (63cm). It's a very colorful whimsy with strong landscape impact. Mid rosy plum standards have wide tan-gold bands. White area around yellow beards is veined and washed dark plum becoming a wide washed band around fuchsia fall centers. Stalks have 2 branches and 6-7 buds. Sdlg.
