From H. P. Simpson catalog, 1922: PRINCESS VICTORIA LOUISE (G. & K., 1910) S. soft, clear yellow; F. rich plum, bordered cream. Gay and gaudy and good for lighting dark spots in the garden. Of good size and growth and very floriferous. 24-30- inch. 25¢.
From Superstition Iris Gardens catalog: PRINZESS VIKTORIA LUISE. Midseason. Diploid from Germany; Standards clear primrose yellow; Falls reddish purple bordered sulphur yellow and shaded yellow at the haft. Orange beard. 24"
