2013, Smith

'Sanskrit' (Marky Smith, R. 2009). Seedling #05-30G. IB, 24" (61 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards chartreuse gold (RHS 16A) rim blending more grey violet in center, chartreuse midrib; style arms greyed gold, brighter chartreuse-gold (5) crests; falls pale greyed-chartreuse centers below beard (160C), rim and shoulders brighter (160A), lower petal and some shoulder wash of greyed red-violet, vertical gold veins absent at rim, cream to gold center stripe; beards smoked orange in throat, brass in middle, smoked brass at end; ruffled; pronounced spicy fragrance. Seedling #03-22A: (seedling #98-34R: 'Bruneau Jasper' x 'Flights Of Fancy') x 'High Master') X 'Brash'. Salmon Creek 2013. Honorable Mention 2017.
