| From Marx Gardens catalog, 1962: AZURE RUFFLES Each $10.00. Like ACCLAIM, this is another first in its color class. Not only elegantly ruffled with tufted center, this is our finest medium blue Marhigo. If you seek the bluest blue in Iris kaemPferi, this is it! In fact most other blue varieties appear purple or lavender by comparison. The white centers and large golden spears make this gorgeous iris even more exciting. Very free flowering and a 2 or 3-year clump covered with 8 to 9-inch blooms is simply breathtaking. Very late. 4 feet. Pictured on front cover.
