2011, Harris

'Celestial Emperor' (Chad Harris, R. 2010) Seedling 96JL1. JI (6 F.), 38" (97 cm), Late midseason bloom. Falls soft violet (RHS 92A) veined dark violet (83A), 1" red violet (83C) band encircling petals, sharply edged white, blue violet (90B) halo giving overall effect of 3 bands of color, white rim and dark veins, signals bright yellow (7A); style arms and crests dark violet. 90JC20: ("Umi Botaru" x 'Dancing Waves') X 90JC15: ("Umi Botaru" x 'Dancing Waves'). Salmon Creek 2011. Honorable Mention 2015

From Mt. Pleasant Iris Farm catalog 2018: Celestial Emperor (Harris '11) 38", ML, 6F, Silver ground, wide red violet band and veins. Bright blue halos surrounding the signals on a large bloom. 0-1 branch, 2-3 buds. $15.00.
