'Enticing Geisha' (
Currier McEwen, R. 1996) Sdlg. J89/28. JI (3 F.), 36" (90 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards violet (RHS 87B) with darker (87A) veins; style arms dark violet (86B), edges and tufts very dark (86A); Falls lobelia blue (91C) with dark violet blue (90A) halo around rich lemon yellow (13B) signal, dark violet blue veins radiating to edge of Falls. Ruffled.

From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing ENTICING GEISHA (J89/28): Diploid, mid season to late, 3 falls. The 7-1/2" flowers are held on 36" stalks. Falls are light violet (RHS 91 C) with dark blue violet (90A) halos surrounding rich yellow signals, and veins of 90A radiating to the edges of the falls. Standards are lighter violet. Excellent arching form and nicely ruffled. (Ahsi-no-Ukifune x Kalamazoo). $30.00. Eartheart Gardens. |
