From Marx Gardens catalog, 1958: GIFT OF HEAVEN (Marx 1956) Each $6.00 An absolute self of soft powder blue (Vervain) without a trace of purple or orchid, a color very similar to some of the light blue shades of Delphinium Chinensis. The flowers are so extremely ruffled and full-centered that a half-opened flower looks very much like a big rose bud. Medium size blooms, 6 to 7 inches across on branched 3-foot stems. A perfect charmer at blooming time. Midseason.
