'Purple Parasol' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1977) Sdlg. 68/7. JI, 48" (122 cm), Midseason bloom. Velvety purple (darker than RHS 87A); yellow (13B) signal; darker purple stylearms. Unnumbered Payne seedling from unknown parentage X 'Great Blue Butterfly'. McEwen 1977. Honorable Mention 1978, Payne Award 1980.
