'Seaways Outset' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1997) Sdlg. 89/2(2). JI (3 F.), 26" (65 cm), Very early bloom. Ruffled pure white, Falls with yellow (RHS 7B) signal with unobtrusive greenish (2C) veins. 'Springtime Snow' X self. Eartheart 1998.

From AIS Bulletin #309 April 1998 Introducing SEAWAY'S OUTSET (J89/2 (2)): Diploid Japanese Iris, 3 falls. The earliest blooming Japanese Iris in our South Harpswell gardens. Very early pure white ruffled 6-1/2" flowers of excellent form. Eartheart Gardens.
