1999, McEwen

'Thoroughbred' (Currier McEwen, R. 1997) Sdlg. T(6)90/23(1). JI (3 falls) tetraploid, 38" (95 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards dark purple (RHS 79B), deeper veining, 1/8" white edge; style arms off-white, tufts brushed methyl violet (85C); falls white, vivid dark blue violet (89A) halo around aureolin yellow (12A) signal, vivid dark blue violet veining extending 2/3 way to edge; ruffled. 'Japanese Harmony' X seedling T(1)84/28: ((''Fairy Carillon' x unknown) x sibling). Eartheart 1999.
