'Variation In Pink' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1995) Sdlg. 89/34. JI (3 F.), 30" (75 cm), Early, midseason, late bloom and rebloom. Standards phlox purple (RHS 75C), paling (75D) with age; style arms white, edged and tipped phlox purple, paling to (75D); Falls lavender pink (75B), paling to (75D), signal light yellow (7C). 'Miyoshino' X 'Celestial Pink'. Eartheart 1996. Honorable Mention 1999.

From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing Variation in Pink: (J89/34) diploid, 3 falls, EM-L. Arching 7" flowers are carried on 30" well branched plants. The color is a soft, medium near-pink on day one, lightening distinctly by day three to give attractive variations in color in the total clump effect. Repeats modestly for long period of bloom. Miyoshino X Celestial Pink. $35. artheart Gardens.
