'White Parachute' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1981). Sdlg. 76/19(5). JI (3 F. diploid), 29.5" (75 cm), Midseason bloom. White; yellow signal covered by white styles. Hirao double white seedling X 71/30(68/24(4) x unknown). Seaways Gardens 1981.

From AIS Bulletin #242 July 1981 Introducing WHITE PARACHUTE (76/19(5)-Diploid, 30", M. Single 7". Snow white flowers with 4" vertically arched, overlapping falls like a floating parachute. One branch plus terminal carry 3-4 buds on successive stalks. Fertile. 'Genji Botaru' X 71/30 (from mixed seeds given by Dr. Hirao). Fall delivery only. $25.00. Currier McEwen.
