Shuichi Hirao by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (6 F.), 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Vivid blue violet, white halo and radiating white veins, yellow signal; style arms white, blue violet crest edges. Parentage unknown. Hirao circa 1961.
