<strong>'King Kong' </strong>([[Main.Bio.HybridizerDurioKen][Ken Durio]], R. 1980). Seedling TU-2-79. LA (TET), 24-30" (61-76 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards dark violet (slightly bluer than Falls); Falls dark violet (more red than Standards); full yellow triangular signal patch with dark red violet webbing; full violet style arms narrowly edged yellow. [[La.LaProfessorClaude]['Professor Claude']] X [[La.LaProfessorIke]['Professor Ike']]. Louisiana Nursery 1980. Honorable Mention 1982.
