From Samuel Berry catalog, 1928: SAGAMORE (1928). A fine tall fulva hybrid on the general order of Cacique, but redder and with a larger and more brilliant gold signal on the falls. The effect of this Iris in sunshine is exceedingly brilliant; height 3 ft. and over. The stock is from the original undivided clump and the majority of those available for delivery the present season are already spoken for. $25.00 each. |
