Author Richard Irwin Lynch

Lynch, Richard Irwin, (1850-1924). Kew gardener, 1867. Curator of the Botanic Garden, Cambridge, 1879-1919. He wrote List of Fern and Fern Allies in Botanic Garden Cambridge 1897, and Book of the Iris 1904. He received the Victoria Medal of Honour in 1906, and the Veitch Memorial Gold Medal in 1923.
