Special Auction: What do you get when you cross 'Chart' with 'Katching'? Paul Black Beauties!

We are in for a real educational treat in the Hugh Stout garden at the 2011 Median Heaven Convention in Oklahoma City in April. Paul Black, of Mid-America Garden, sent a selection of 7 seedlings from his all time best SDB cross ('Chart' X 'Kaching'). These will be listed as guests for the 2011 Oklahoma City Convention. From this cross, 34 out of about 100 seedlings were numbered. Quality was exceptionally high with many having outstanding, contrasting style-arms. These guests, growing in Hugh Stout's garden, display the diversity that can come from a single cross. Paul is donating one each of these ('Chart' X 'Kaching') seedlings as part of MIS fundraising efforts. They will be auctioned as a single unit. The high bidder gets the entire collection of 7. Hugh has agreed to dig and ship them from his garden after the convention when they are mature enough to divide. Of the ones pictured below, the D, F, K, and P selections are probably going to be introduced in 2012. This means that the lucky successful bidder will have four introductions a year in advance of their introduction. See details after images of the seven seedlings.
