My Image is too large to upload, click here
The thumbnail was not created:
If a filename for an attachment contains a space or punctuation it will block the creation of the thumbnail. Solution: you must delete the photo and start over with a proper filename. Underscores may be used to replace spaces.
The picture does not appear or has a different thumbnail:
Filenames for attachments must be unique. If you uploaded a picture with a filename the same an image that was already present, strange things can happen since the wiki does not know which to read. Solution: Delete the photo and reload using a unique filename. Suggestion: incorporate the name of the photographer in the file name along with the cultivar name and a number if you are loading more than one picture on that page. The hybridizer name is already part of the page and is redundant in the filename.
The picture is not much larger than the thumbnail:
Since the wiki only takes files under 75KB, You may have downsized the photo by reducing the canvas size or area size of image. Usually reducing resolution is a better option to reduce files size. If some docent could provide more information on good programs for reducing file size we could plan a link here to that text.
An Image is incorrectly labeled:
The person who loaded needs to know that there is an error. If they have included their e-mail address in their profile you can contact them so they can correct their personal file and the wiki. If necessary you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org
or a docent you know. If you do not let the user who put it up know they may just reload it when they see it missing. It would be helpful to load a correct image for comparison.
