(MDB) 'Creme De Cacao'

1970, Sindt

'Creme De Cacao' (David Sindt, R. 1969). Seedling #E106. MDB, height 6" (15 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards ivory-cream; falls dark violet-brown spots, narrowly edged ivory-cream; creamy white beards. 'Sparkling Eyes' X unknown. Riverdale Iris Gardens 1970. Honorable Mention 1971; ASM 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing CREME DE CACAO (David Sindt>. MDB, 6". (Sparkling Eyes X unknown). The standards are creamy white. Most of the falls are taken up by a large, very dark violet-brown spot, sharply and narrowly edged in creamy white. Well formed, with wide rounded petals. A neat and attractive little plant. $5.00. Riverdale Iris Gardens.
