From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1951: OLIVE EVA (Ethel Christensen). Early and reblooms in fall. (Two Dwarfs.) Here is one of the first blended variegates I have seen in a true dwarf. It should be highly useful in bringing new colors into the dwarf bearded class. Standards pale yellow - lower half flushed lavender-purple. Falls purple, lower eighth yellow. Styles yellow flushed purple. Consistently reblooms in the fall. Fragrant. Height 4 inches. $5.00 |
