'Sun Fairy' (Alta Brown, R. 1970). Seedling #M 1299-8. MDB, 7" (18 cm). Early bloom. White with bright lemon yellow (4/1) spot on falls; white beard. 'Sunlit Charm' X Seedling #M 621-11: ('Irene Brown' x 'Carpathia'). Brown's Iris Garden 1971. Honorable Mention 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing SUN FAIRY. 7". E. A dainty pure white with a bright lemon yellow spot on the upper half of the rounded, flaring falls. Beard is white and form good. Fresh and clean. No. M1299-8. A sister seedling to Buttercup Charm introduced last year. $5.00. Brown's Iris Garden.
