From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2003: FLOATING CANDLES - SPEC-X (sibirica hybrid). Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. S 96-22-2), 25", E. A lovely small, delicate, species-like flower in a yellow amoena (RHS 11 A to 8). Unlike yellow siberians on the market today, it has tiny red-violet dots and veins on its smooth gold signal. The flower form is classic sibirica - tall white upright standards, small horizontal white styles, and pendant to slightly arching yellow falls. The clump habit is also like sibirica with narrow short foliage topped by taller flower stems with one branch and four flowers. Slight fragrance. Sarah Tiffney X Enid Burgoyne. $35.00. |
