■(SPX) 'Wild Petticoats'

2001, Markham

'Wild Petticoats' (Lynn Markham, R. 2001). Seedling 93-62B2. SPEC-X, 24" (61 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards white ground heavily sanded strong violet (Munsell 2.5P 3/8) overall, wide edge of almost solid violet; style arms cream with violet crests; falls white, densely sanded and stitched strong violet border, lightening at haft to blend with violet web-like pattern around beard; beards strong violet hair tips with near-white base, pale lemon in throat, long and prominent; form narrow, ruffled; foliage based red purple, often pied bright green. 'Blue Petticoats' X 'Ostry White'. Markham 2001. Honorable Mention 2003.
