From Longfield Iris Farms catalog, 1944: Daystar (Wmsn. 1941). A dainty little white Iris with a faint creamy tint and a brilliant cadmium orange beard. The color on the haft which starts above the tip of the beard is light cadmium. A little taller than Pewee but distinct from it by its very bright orange beard and yellow haft. Of heavier and more lustrous texture than Pewee. $1.50 |
