(MTB) 'Oshel Blue'

1984, Dunderman

'Oshel Blue' (Mary Louise Dunderman, R. 1984). Seedling #Z271. MTB, 23" (58 cm), Very late bloom. Standards full violet blue, few white veins at hafts; falls dark violet blue, light violet blue rim and line down center; slightly flaring falls; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling #166R106: ('Storm Dance' x Welch seedling #T-201) X unknown. Dunderman 1984. Honorable Mention 1986.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing OSHEL BLUE-23" $10.00. A medium violet-blue bitone. Because it is so floriferous, it forms a showy clump of color late in the iris season. Mary Louise Dunderman.
