'Bisbee' (David Spence, R. 1988). Seedling S83-400-1., R. SDB, height 12-15" (36- 38 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly ruffled cream-tan, russet brown spot and veining on Falls; light blue beard tipped yellow, yellow in throat. 'Fred Elmer Bond' X ('Funtime' x ('Green Spot' x unknown)). Kirkland Iris, 21st Century 1988

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing BISBEE (Spence) SDB, 12-15", M. The emphasis is on heavy substance and beautiful form. The creamy tan flowers have a russet brown spot and vein pattern on the falls. Two branches plus terminal have 3 buds. The standards are domed and closed, and the flaring falls are lightly ruffled. Beards are light blue tipped yellow and yellow in the throat. Sdlg. S83-400-1: Fred Elmer Bond X (Fun Time x (Green Spot x unknown)). $12.50. Kirkland Iris Garden.
