■(SDB) 'Brass Tacks'

1978, Keppel

'Brass Tacks' (Keith Keppel, R. 1977). Seedling 71-9B. SDB, 12" (30 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards pyretheum yellow (M&P 11-L-l) touched greyed rose-brown (7-E-8) at claw; falls slightly darker, velvety, faintly blended roseglow (5-D-9) on hafts; dark violet-blue beard tipped mustard. 'Moon Blaze' X 'Gingerbread Man'. Keppel 1978. High Commendation 1978; Honorable Mention 1980; Award of Merit 1982.
