From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1987: CAR HOP- SDB, 13 " (33cm), Midseason. Here he comes to serve you up one of the brightest spots in the garden. From my kitchen window, Car Hop demanded attention apart from all the other varieties growing around it. It is a much, much improved Red Heart. Standards are deep blue-violet and falls dark maroon with a deep blue-violet band. Form is wide and crisp just like you'd expect a Car Hop to be. Beards are likewise dark blue-violet. Terrific vigor and usually sends up several late stalks with the tall beardeds. Sdlg. 83125A: (Stockholm X Chartreuse Babe) X ((Puppet X Meadow Moss) X Sapphire Jewel)). $10.00. |
