(SDB) 'Dancing Damsel'

1974, Brown

'Dancing Damsel' ( Alta Brown, R. 1973). Seedling M-1571-1 1. SDB, height 11" (28 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards Egyptian buff (Wilson 407/1); Falls orange-buff (507/3) with amber yellow (505) haft; tangerine beard. M 1387-18: ( 'Pink Cushion' x 'Lenna M') X sibling. J & J Iris 1974

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing DANCING DAMSEL (Alta Brown '74). M 1571-11: (M 1387-13 (Pink Cushion x Lenna M.) X Sib. M 1387-8). SDB, 11", M. The standards are domed and touching and are Egyptian buff (Wilson 407/1). The falls are orange buff (Wilson 507/3) and are nicely flaring. The beard is tangerine, and the hafts are amber yellow (Wilson 505). Good form and substance. Net $7.50. J&J Iris Garden.
