(SDB) 'Dorothy Howard'

1988, Palmer

'Dorothy Howard' (Cleo Palmer, R. 1986). Seedling 8532. SDB, height 13" (33 cm), Early bloom. White with pale orangish yellow hafts, shoulders and spot on falls; red beard with paler tip ending in very pale blue tip. Seedling 8211: (seedling 7601: ('Baria' x 'Carpathia') x 'Dove Wings') X ('Daisy' x ('Pink Cushion' x 'Dove Wings')). Palmer 1988. Honorable Mention 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 DOROTHY HOWARD-SDB, 13", E. White with pale orange yellow spot and hafts on falls. Red beards tipped blue. Wide, round form, heavy substance, horizontally flaring and ruffled. ((Baria x Carpathia) x Dove Wings) X (Daisy x (Pink Cushion x Dove Wings)). $10.00. Palmer's Iris Garden.
