'Incendiary' (Marky Smith, R. 1996). Seedling# 92-20A. SDB, 14" (36 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards blackened burgundy (darker than RHS 187A), few lavender grey marks near midrib; style arms mauve-tipped burgundy, midribs deep blue violet; falls small yellow (2A) center, black red 1/4" solid outer rim, 3/8" inner rim almost solidly stitched darkest scarlet (blacker than 187A); beards bronze end, gold midsection, yellow orange in throat; ruffled; pronounced spicy fragrance.
