From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: ISLAND - SDB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason-Late. An Island of rich brown earth is surrounded by blue ocean and sky. Ruffled, slate blue standards blend out to medium violet-blue. The large brown Island spots are surrounded by 3/8 inch violet-blue bands. Layered beards of dark violet topped old gold sit in a cluster of short white darts including one at ends of beards. Should be a very interesting plicata parent. Sdlg. L236B: Puddy Tat X (Yippy Skippy sib x Black E100A.) $18.00. |
