| JOY BRINGER (Brizendine '65) is just that-a bringer of joy. Long-lasting, among the earliest bloomers, frequently with the MDBs, it is still in full bloom when the intermediates begin. A warm white with a chartreuse halo which becomes intense when planted in partial shade. [Carol Ramsey, “Standard Dwarfs---1969,” The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 194 (July 1969): 68.]
